Laminate floor is a high quality photo of a wood or tile floor, bonded to HDF wood core with a melamine protective layer, this is what gives it its strength.

Laminate floors have been around for some time now and have improved beyond all expectations from when they first come out.

The advantages of Laminate floors are they are very tough and more scratch resistant than real wood. They also come in nearly every finish you can imagine with different textures, hand scrapped look, wide plank, rustic. Also most floors now have a click system at the joints which makes it easier to take apart if you need to access the sub floor.

Some claim to be waterproof, we don't agree, we always recommend a vinyl style floor for bathrooms and Kitchen. If you are looking for an instant effect wood floor, you cannot go wrong with laminate, but beware always go for the best quality you can as these will last and look the best.

PRICING

The Laminate market is very competitive with floors starting at �5 sq m. We do not do these cash and carry ones as we cannot guarantee how they will look or last.

We offer the better end floors such as Berry Floor, Quick Step, Balterio, all come with a 20 year guarantee and have the biggest choice of designs. The way we price is a fully fitted price which includes the laminate floor, polyfoam underlay, matching beading, door threshold, labour to install, VAT and delivery. All we need to know is how many metres and what floor. In the unlikely event that you've seen a cheaper fitted price we will match or beat it, ask for details.
